What a great weekend we had hosting Mexican 5* event rider, Daniella Moguel here at True North! After I met Danny last winter in Ocala while horse shopping for a client, I knew I'd met someone I'd continue to stay in touch with. Everyone knows I love the connections that horses bring us and Danny is surely among one of our favorites as she always finds the positive in the horse and is creative in finding a way to work with each horse, and well is just plain fun to be around. Our clinic weekend did not disappoint as we were able to set up a great camp format with dressage and jumping on day 1 and jumping again on day 2. Riders were most excited about the improvement in throughness gained through transitions and work through the peduluum of gaits. Really great stuff in each set showed in increased confidence and quality of gaits and jump! We were also able to sneak out for an early morning beach ride to show Danny our beautiful Cape Cod flats and sunrise and enjoyed a festive barn potluck hosted by the Belson's.
